im a slave to my own conciousness. ordered around by feelings and emotions seemingly not of my own choosing. but what am i to do, im just fate's plaything. all we can do is hope that the dreams we cherish outduel the things we fear.

One tries to stay in control and the more we try the more we slowly realize we really have no control at all. We merely think we do. Our bodies react to stimuli only so much before it sends us a very different kind of message, one that we should heed.

Different emotions cause different paralyzes. Some you can deal with better than others.

I applaud anyone who can keep their emotions in check, that's not easy. I'm a very emotional person to begin with and with everything I had experienced in life, it is paralyzing- you get to a point where those emotions become an oxymoron; they freeze and you're hanging on the last thread of a rope that slowly disintegrates and turns into dust. The void is mindboggling that you don't know where you are at- panic attacks are a bit like that but this is one step further. I am thankful in my spirituality that I allow myself meditation and reading, it slows me down and I don't get as emotional, then I just get empassioned with enthusiasm and want to share it with the world.

they don't paralyze me, they just make me go into deep thinking about the world. it depends on what emotions, deep thinking is for when i am sad, but the other emotions i handle them so no they don't paralyze me.

I USE TO let them, not anymore. Life's too short to stay in the past, in the present for more than that moment, I'm always looking towards the future!
