Which should i get for my first electric guitar.Give me the pros and cons of both if u can

Gibson is a great guitar but cost way more than a fender, but Gibson is the best sounding guitar out there hands down. The only thing I can tell you is try both. they both have their own unique sound plus Gibson weighs allot more than a fender. A fender will give you more of a twangy country sound while Gibson will give you a thick bluesy rock sound and will hold its value better.
