All are moving away from us do to Hubble's Law (the expansion of spacetime). Some galaxies nearby are moving toward us. This can be determined by looking at the redshift of the galaxies radiation. Redshifted are moving away and blueshifted are moving toward.

each galaxy is shifting removed from the middle of the universe the further a galaxy is from the middle of the universe, the swifter it strikes so from our perspective, all the galaxies are shifting removed from us think of if it like this, take a protracted, flat rubber band (you do not incredibly could try this) and cut back it so its one piece. mark 5 or so spots on it and carry it out in front of you so its tight, yet you at the instant are not pulling against it. opt for one mark which you made and pull the rubber band out, from the perspective of that particular element, the different ones are shifting removed from it. then do the comparable component with yet another element, back the different factors look shifting removed from that particular element in an effort to reply to your question, they are shifting form of like a drop of water in a pond (different than dashing up as they pass alongside) the place the drop falls into the water is the middle of the universe a tsunami may well be yet another sturdy occasion as properly
