why do SOME black women make nasty comments/give nasty looks to me and my non-black spouse?

I just dont personally think it's my place or business to say who someone else should be with. I also treat EVERYONE with respect until they give me reason not to. Thoughts anyone?

Some people don't like it when another race "takes their men/women." I've been subjected to that nonsense.

It's usually jealousy because those people can't get a date.

Now really, telll me you don't know why they give you the nasty looks? You're choosing to be with a non-black woman instead of a black one, like yourself. Age old envy, not even jealousy, people just don't understand that love is blind to age and color. Personally I Think interracial relationships are the best, you bring two very different people together and their children are the most beautiful. Unfortunately though, society is cruel and won't let that happen, just be happy, enjoy your life with your spouse and ignore the nasty looks, from black, white, yellow or red. Who cares what they think, the important thing is for you two to be happy. God Bless you and your spouse.

A lot of black woman think it is a shame that you had to settle for a different race. We always say our black men is being took by white mostly and other races. We also say that black men only go to white woman because you can run over them. They tend to give up money,etc. with no problem. I'm just stating what I've heard so many times.Personally I would never date outside my race. My step mom is Italian. So I really do not care but this is what they are thinking.

They are ignorant. Simple inconsistency is the hobgoblin of feeble minds. H.D.T. Those who cannot understand the quality of human nature should not be passing judgment on those of use who choose to think outside the box. Want the best answer... Why? Honestly, only those particular black women could answer that truthfully. But some of the black women i work with have the most hateful things to say about black men with non-black women. I mean, they say some really ugly things that are very disturbing to me.

My opinion? Ignore it because i hate to say it, but it really looks like these type of women aren't going anywhere.

Most of us don't approve of interracial marriages that is why.
You surely don't want to live in my southern part of the country with a white wife because they will not accept you and will make your life miserable. It is a southern thing.

Because they feel threatened and they are jealous of course. I could care less if I see a black man with a non-black woman but others don't see it that way. To them your non-black spouse is stealing one of their own. I guess you belong to them. Just tell them to kiss your and your spouse's ***...

i agree with that. and when women do that because maybe they are jealous or mad because they don't have a good man by their side. and TV hype that black man and white women situation up so much when they see it in real life it makes them mad. i really don't care who people date. in my eyes a women is a women and a man is a man.
