in a nut shell, cellular respiration is 3 steps, glycolysis, the citric acid cycle, and oxidative phosphorylation:electron transport and chemiosmosis.
in glycolysis, glucose is broken down into pyruvate, which is then used to power the citric acid cycle which creates ATP and NADH and FADH2 which then goes to oxidative phosphorylation: electron transport and chemiosmosis which have NAD+, FAD, H2O, and ATP as end products.
glycolysis generates ATP whether oxygen is present or not, aerobic or anaerobic.
anaerobic catabolism occurs by fermentation, which is an extension of glycolysis by substrate level phosphorylation as long as there is sufficient supply of NAD+ to accept electrons during the oxidative step of glycolysis.
there are 2 types of fermentation, alcohol and lactic acid. ethanol is an end product of alcohol fermentation and lactate is an end product of lactic acid fermentation.
hope this helps!

The reactants of cellular respiration are glucose, fats, aminoacids. Aminoacids and fats are converted into glucose prior to the reaction. the main product of cellular respiration is ATP(Adenosine triphosphate).ATP is required for a number of biological processes such as biosynthesis of purines, pyrimidines, nucleotides and almost all the biological processes require ATP. the NADH and FADH2 produced is converted into ATP via oxidative phosphorylation.Oxygen acts as electron acceptor here.

Ok the key, reactants in anaerobic respiration(glycolysis) is glucose. The main byproduct is CH3CH(OH)COOH (lactic acid) and 2NADH

The key reactant in aerobic respiration(Krebs Cycle) is Acetly CoA.
The main byproduct is ATP, six NADH, two FADH2, four CO2.
