in math, i have no idea what we are doing.
sure i"ve asked the teacher, and i"ve gone afterschool for extra help, but i simply CANNOT do the work.
and whats worse, the teacher always calls on me to give answers to the homework, and the whole class knows i"m stupid... the whole thing is so frustrating..
math homework takes me about four hours every night, and yet i still cant finish half of it because i have no idea what any of it means.
as i"ve said, i"ve talked to the teacher but she keeps saying that i"ll improve if i try my best. i AM trying my best.
what should i do!? HELP!?

➔ Homework Help
you have already solved the greastest part of the problem . and solved a huge part of the puzzle that is life.
you have come to a point that you know you have done your best and that you have used up all the availible sorces you know of for help.
you have come to the point in the climb up the mountain in life that many have to wait for middle age to reach. you are a fast climber. you are a good climber. you are a person that is being given a test that is much harder then any math test ever could be.
you are being given a test of faith. a test of life.
this test is not about math but about your williness to accept that you are not an army unto yourself instead you are but one solider in a battle agaist a enemy that has much power knowledge and skill.
you you see are at a point in life where you relize that your human . that you can not do all that you set your mind too.
that you will not win every battle but that you will if you so choose live to fight another day.
how wonderfull it is that you have been given the ability to climb this mountain of faith so quickly that you have come to a direction marker so soon. .
you see now that math is not the area of study that God wants you to persue instead he has closed that door and left you in a room full of many doors . each of the doors opens if you choose to try but only one door may open at a time . you may step through the door way of one door only . you need to have faith to know what door way you are to pass through . i can give you a hint the door way you are to enter through is the narrow one.
what should you do now you should give thanks to the lord that your now can remove this math allusion from the path to him.
ask your teacher to place you in a class that is much less intense as far as math goes and take time to relax and give thanks to the lord that he has guided you to this point.
you my child are one of a few that knows God has a purpose for you and its not you who has a purpose for God.
may the lord jesus christ son of god one in the holy sprirt guide you and help you to learn follow and see the wonders of his works each day of this life unitl you are once again with him and his choirs of angels and saints in heaven. amem

I am a horrible math student, but I found that once I switched math teachers that my grade improved. It really does depend on the teacher. Talk to your parents, your counselor, and other math teachers (but don't complain about one you have, just see what they do in class) and then decide.

First of all which standard are you in....Trust me maths is very simple and all you have to have is the basic aptitude or you have to tune yourself.... Just start from the purchases you make in a store... Try to figure out the amount it is going to be including the taxes..... If it is something like calculus then you need a good tutor to train you from lines and stuff.....

find a teacher to tutor you who has compassion and understands your situation----when i was in high school i was always having problems w/ math--my worst subject--i always had lower grades in that than anything and i finally went to my math teacher before school and after school a lot of times to get help and it brough up my grades to a's and b's from c's-----and the next year when i did not have that same math teacher, i still went to him for help with my current math classes and he helped me out as well----the whole math department at my high school was so awesome one day i was so frustrated with trigonometry that i was crying and so angry and ready to throw my math book out in the rain that i just got into my car and left home and went up back to the high school (we got out at 2:55pm and math teachers were there till 5pm) and walked into the math office and was like, ok i need help and like 4 teachers all offered to help me and 2 of them ended up spending about an hour with me and writing down the steps and methods for the types of problems i was doing and i kept the paper and did my homework using their methods and notes and got 100's on my next tests and felt so much better about myself and going to school and my grades and loved going to math class because i was having fun and finally enjoying math!

Ask your parents to send you to a private tutor or learning center. It sounds to me like there is one critical bit of information you are missing. When you get that it will all fall into place.

If your teacher won't help you then you should go to your parents and ask for a tutor....or if you have a friend willing to help you should ask them.
