No Coyotoes come out in the winter looking for food. last year they got more than 10 dogs in our area and there was nothing left of them but there collars. the coyates are hungry and are looking for dogs. I was out in the field with my girlfriend and the coyote spotted me and my dog. We took off down field and the only thing that saved us was the tennis courts as the gates were very high.

No, they still need to hunt and eat. They're not like bears. I had a coyote in my backyard just last week!
