Concrete was a great technical achievement, and enabled the development of the arch, since it was easy to use and very sturdy. The recipe for concrete was actually lost when the Roman Empire fell, and wasn't recovered until the Renaissance.
Their other achievements were military. After all they did conquer the (known to them) world. They relied on infantry deployed in a modified Phalanx formation they borrowed from the Greeks, but armed with short swords and 5ft shields. They were superb at maneuvering their troops in formation, long marches, digging earthworks for defenses. Their main military achievement, beyond the technical, was their amazing ability at organization.
