final fantasy 7 for cheapskate?

My daughter wants the game Final Fantasy 7 for Playstation for Christmas. Unfortunately wherever I've seen it for sale, even used copies are $50.00 or so. One place even wanted $70.00 for the used game! My daughter assures me that the game is "awesome," but I can't afford $50.00 for it. Does anyone know a source where I can buy (not download illegally--BUY) the game cheap?

if you are looking in a game store, the price is about 30 dollars. but the chances of finding it in a game store are so incredibly slim it's not even funny.

your daughter wants this game, and to be fair, it's not that bad a game, even if I, IV, V, and VI are better. even though it's a ps1 game, it plays fine on the ps2.

This game is a greatest hit and should be $20 or lower (if used) however because 1.) They don't make new copies any more and 2.) It's a freaking good game.....you probably won't find it unless you buy it online.

I suggest looking at different places like ebay, gamestop, etc. for a copy that can be delivered. I had heard about this $50 thing so be sure to find something lower. If you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT find it anywhere...$50 may have to do. From person experience...I consider playing Final Fantasy VII priceless.

Ouch, are you kidding me? I agree with your daughter *it's an awesome game!* in gameplay and storyline. The graphics arn't so hot though... Anyways you could find it on Ebay (I don't want to be dumb, telling everybody to go to Ebay to find stuff), and flea markets, those places sell that stuff like crazy, and I assure you that it's under $20. I bought Final Fantasy XII (12) for $59.99. And it's the newest one...so it's impossible for it to be sold over $30 (top).

well I bought one recently from gamestop online. at http://www.gamestop.com I don't know if they still hav
any, but it was about $30.00 maybe $35.00 then. look around on ebay. and half.com. I'll do some looking and answer again and let you know whether or not I can find one for you.

ebay, sorted by lowest price, look around there just make sure that you don't get dirge of cirburus, thats the new one for ps2 thats a spin off on vincent valintine, a backround character in FF7

Have you tried your local EBgames for it they have low prices on used and new games.
