It's "cheque run". It bascially means the day that a company pays their bills in a week. Most companies have few days of cheque run in a week or some times month. As before printing cheques and mailing them out, they need to get managers approvals, etc.
It's a long process in accounts payable department.
So if you have ever tried to do collection, that's what you hear from APs. "Our cheque run is on Friday". (The day they issue and print cheques).
