The reason that know one chose you was, probaly that you're not that good at tennis. It's not about popularity on a tennis court it is about how good you are. So keep on practicing and the girls will notice how good you're and want to be your partner.

When you get older, OUT of school and into the real world, being popular doesnt matter any more. Sure it sucks not to be picked at tennis, but maybe that should tell you something. Are you exuding a behavior or attitude to other people that is ugly?
I always thought it was funny that the "popular" girls at school were pretty sure that everyone liked them, but in reality, everyone pretty much hated them. They just had a group of people around them that were all the same and even they kind of hated eachother.
Most of those girls were starved for real friends, real relationships and real... well... life later on.
The best thing to do, is to for one, do yourself a life favor and dont care if youre popular or not (be nice to those that arent and you WILL stay popular).
Otherwise, since i imagine youre a little... younger than i would practically speak to, heres a suggestion to get a partner.
Go up to someone before class even starts, before practice even starts and say "hey i know you usually practice with _____ but do you want to be my partner just this one time?
It will help, but i still suggest you grow up a little and scrap the worry about popularity. Its not important in the real world.

Tennis is not a popularity contest. The best way to get some respect and attention is to get better at tennis. Be the best u can be and give all your attention to game and forget those people because if u played well I would love having u on my side. If your not that good then no offence but I'm choosing the person who is able to help me win. Be the one they look to to help them win and forget who's popular.

maybe this doesnt have to do with popularity but with tennis skills.maybe u r not a great player or maybe u r so good that everyone is just plain jealous and want to take revenge.dont worry as long as u improve ur tennis or become friendly u wont have problems.good luck!

It could be lots of things . . .
You are no good at tennis
You are TOO good and make everyone look bad
Everyone has a best friends and though you are popular, you are not the one picked because of that
Everyone is about the same popular and you just happened to be picked last.
Order of being picked is not the only indicator of popularity.

Why do want to be popular? Haven't you realised that it's your "popularity" that's spoiling your life and maybe even your game??? Forget this popularity nonsence and start living your life for yourself and not for everyone else. Maybe then someone will pick you first.

Maybe you are not quite as popular as you think you are. It may sound harsh but I prefer reality.
I very much would like to have a nice guy go with me to our company Christmas party, but it didn't happen.
I know the feeling.

was there an even number of people or an odd number of people.
If it was an odd number of people and you were the last one left just go out there and practice for the singles matches. Maybe someone will say, hey their not bad or someone will quit.

I'm always picked last... for everything. There is nothing you can do except try to make friends with the other girls on the team.
