I believe most people are still in the mindset that the only person to hold office should be a male WASP (White Anglo-Saxon Protestant), so I have a feeling that neither Hilary or Barack will win the Presidenct in '08.

The real way they could get someone in the White House is to have a moderate Democrat run (although that's an oxymoron)

I don't think they'll choose Hillary. The country is not ready for a female president and the democrats know it. They wouldn't want to waste a chance at the White House.

As much as I'm for a female president, I don't think Hillary will win. There are still too many narrow-minded people in this country who still believe that a president should be a man. As much as women has risen to power over the past decade, people are still sexist.

Yup. I think neither stands a chance of winning the holy grail.
Not being a democrat, I look forward to watching Obama outclass her, and to see what "clintonesque" tactics she employs.
Excersise in futility, but great entertainment value. My money is on Hillary pulling out. (Don't get excited Bill.)

Well, Bush has been the president for years and years...how much worse could it be. The recipe for disaster happened with him being voted in a second term. What a shock!

Hilary - with Bill in the wings - Fabulous.

Obama Barak ~ wouldn't say no!

Go Dem's!

Obama doesn't have a chance at this point. He's way too young. He needs to get about 20 years more experience on him before he could be considered a serious contender.

One of them is going to win the primary so it won't really be a disaster. Obama is very young so he could always run again. And if hilitary loses who cares? Hard core liberals don't even really like her anymore.

I predict Hillary will run as president, and Obama will run as her VP

Write that in stone!

(if i bookmark this and come back in 2 years to show everyone how smart i am, will it still be here?)

Disaster! It's way to obvious! Democrats need to wake up quick.

I don't believe Hillary is as liberal as Obama. With her past experience and middle of the road liberalism I thing she will have no problem.
