NaRutO and The Law Of Ueki

I'd have to say Rurouni Kenshin for me. The artwork is real good, better than the anime. The plots are well thought of, and although some things ocassionally exaggerated, everything fits very well into the storyline. Characters are developed well throughout the story, the action, drama, humor and all are well balanced and appropriate, and a plus is that it's quite informative about Japanese history (to people like me who hardly have a clue anyway).

Though my first love will always be Dragonball (and DBZ)... Though most people think the anime is crap, the manga is so not, and by reading it people can understand why the Dragonball franchise was such a hit in the first place. Flame of Recca, although not my favorite, also gets props for the 2nd half of the series (not shown in the anime). The second arc turned FoR from a Yu Yu Hakusho rip off (not my words) to something totally different (and amazing).

My favorite manga is Hunter x Hunter by Yoshihiro Togashi. I like it because it is like Yu Yu hakusho. It has comedy, action, and lots of fighting. The art is good and the storyline works. The only down thing about it is that the series may never "truly" end because he has been on sick leav and unable to continue with the manga.
