Can someone help me...I am watching the Lions...again...its been like this for 29 years and I just cant keep myself from watching them...Well at least we had Barry for a while, but lately, I keep telling myself I am not going to watch but I do...
Should I blame my father for this? After all he raised me as a lions fan, is this because he didnt really love me? I am confused and bewildered, and can someone get Roy Williams some $*%#ing stickum for @#$@$ sake!?!?!?!

Being a lifelong lions fan i can see how you have self esteem/emotional problems...and maybe even suicidal....
But stay strong my friend, lifes more about football. I would advise shutting off all tvs on sundays and not put yourself through the stress, agony, and disappointment that the lions put you through every week.

As a Saints fan (this year being a real aberration) I feel your pain. Especially true when you consider I grew up in a family that rooted for Mississippi State in college ball. But learning to deal with adversity and disappointment helps build character that can help in other parts of your life, so please don't slit your wrists yet. I may not be able to get through the Saints/Cowboys game sober, but I still believe there can be better days ahead.

I feel your pain pal...
The Lions, Browns, Texans, and several other teams need to do a better job of drafting. When the Lions WRs they picked up sucked, why did they pick up Mike Williams?
Hope they keep Kitna and don't draft another WR again...

hold Your head up dude. before My Giants won a super bowl in '87, the last time they had been to any kind of championship game was 1962. You just have to suffer a little and, stick it out. anything but, becoming one of those guys who pulls for whoever is winning this week. hang in there. Your day will come and, the wait will make the victory all the sweeter.

I think you just love the team. You should watch the movie Fever Pitch about a guy who is a Red Sox fan. You could sympathize with Jimmy Falon plus its a good movie.
