Yeah, when you come down to it. Anything outside the bonds of marriage is a sin. But some people have a problem figuring that out and think that sleeping with a million women is Ok, and one stray thought about a guy will get you into hell. To each his own.

Personally, I don't think sex for pleasure is wrong. Why would God make it so enjoyable if he didn't want people to partake of it for reasons other than precreation?

And to the person who wrote "
The bible says gays (queers, ******, perverts) are wrong. You obviously read what you want to read and ignore the rest."

The bible also says not to eat pork, shellfish or meat and dairy together(cheeseburger). Do you abstain from these foods or do you read what you want to read and ignore the rest?

People think homosexuality is wrong because, as you've pointed out, they are hypocritical.
The meaning of sodomy in old biblical times meant wanting to have sex for a reason other than making babies. So sex for pleasure was wrong for GAYS AND STRAIGHTS! Though, since gay sex won't yield babies, most of the "sex for pleasure" hatred has fallen on gays. Despite the fact that straight people have sex-for-pleasure with their spouses, they still hold the old sex-for-pleasure definition of sodomy against gays!
