I've bought a notebook computer. The battery of my previous one doesn't work due to overcharge and never taken out. I always connected the laptop to a power outlet. So now for this new computer I want to take out the battery after it's fully charged in order to preserve it. And then I continue to use the laptop by plugging into a power outlet. I'm wondering if this will damage the computer.

The lap top will work. But there is no need to remove the battery. Leaving the battery in is the best way to keep it fully charged.
