Credits 80(230 to Graduate)

Class rank:275/1047 (26%)

Question though what do colleges look at?Weighted or non weighted GPA?And besides the obvious...what do YOU think I should do.(like classes and other stuff)I've been in the same club for awhile now and I think I'll stay until I graduate. My friends just tell me to prep for the SAT and hope I score high to balance my poor GPA.I took 2 honors classes last year and I'm taking a AP and H this year.I'll be taking 4 AP classes next year.I took summer school this year and last year and plan on taking it the remaining two years on easy classes (to salvage my GPA)

No, it is a really bad idea to go for the easy classes during your junior and senior year. Most colleges look at the overall picture when selecting a student for admission. Every college looks at the difficulty in the course load, and the easy classes could look even worse on your transcript. The AP course load will benefit you in the long run because it can result in college credit meaning a more advanced academic standing and less in college loans possibly. Before you consider taking easy classes, I recommend talking to both your high school guidance counselor and several college admissions officers this year.

they don't care approximately HS. this is thoroughly beside the point to grad admissions -- no diverse than asking what grade you acquire in finger portray once you have been in kindergarten. HS isn't seen as any style of scholarly success. Grad admissions care approximately your college-point coursework taken, GPA, traits in grades (i.e. many people start up off low in GPA yet upward push as they're close to graduation it is stable), try rankings (not SAT), and significant letters of advice from professors while you're using to an academic grad application. artwork journey may well be an component at business enterprise grad classes.

It actually matters a lot to be involved in school. So join your student council or run or a president of a club. Good luck!
