I'd guess we don't know that the Bush administration already has a deal in place to secure all of Iraq's OIL until we've sucked every drop out of that nation's sands.
I'd guess we don't know that the Bush administration has already made it clear to the 'new' Iraqi government that it will be dominated by the United States government. That's why the U.S. is building the world's largest embassy on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad overlooking the modest headquarters of the 'new' Iraqi government.
I'd guess that the Iraq Study Group Report was written to pacify incoming Democrats so that it appeared as if something was finally being accomplished, but that - in fact - nothing will change as the 'war' continues unabated. The U.S.A. doesn't give a tinker's damn about bringing democracy or peace to Iraq. All it wants is all those rich fields of cheap, easily-accessible OIL so that Americans can continue feeding their dependency on OIL. It's all about OIL and OIL profits. Pure and simple.
I'd guess that there's already a plan in place to illegally and unconstitutionally invade Iran for the very same reason we illegally invaded Iraq: OIL. -RKO-

We don't know more than we know. For security reasons partly. As time goes by there will be articles and books written. . But it is always this way. We are not the generals the troops or reserves. Some of it we have no need to know. Just curiosity

I don't know, and it's obvious from your question that you don't either, so if you find out, please tell me.
