Well, it isn't as bad as some women say it is. I had morning sickness through both my first and third trimester. It was so bad that I lost 20 pounds in the first month and my doctor had to put me on medicine so that I could actually eat. I had a pretty normal pregnancy other than that. About a week after my due date, I was scheduled to go in to be induced but the night before I lost my plug but my water didnt break so I went to the hospital. I had signed up for the epidural because I was afraid of the pain, but when the contractions finally got stronger, the nurse asked if I wanted something for pain. I told her I did want something but not the epidural. I was more afraid of the epidural than the labor! So they gave me demerol and that eased the pain. The only time that my labor really hurt was when my daughter crowned! I had to have an episiotomy but it wasn't so bad. After they took my daughter to clean her up, I fell asleep! Two days later, we were released from the hospital and we went shopping!

Well I can't give advice about birth, because this is my first pregnancy, and I still have 7 weeks to go... But here are a few suggestions... Do your exercises (you can find them on many websites or in books- I have what to expect when your expecting) drink plenty of water, eat healthy, take your prenatal vitamins, do a little bit of strength training in the beginning of your pregnancy- it helps in the end... I have absolutely no back pain because I keep an eye on my posture, and exercise daily... it really does help. Check out any of these websites they are great for providing information and advice- Babycenter.com, Whattoexpect.com.

I am eight weeks pregnant. It's exciting. I love talking to new mothers and ones close. I have been lucky. I have a little morning sickness but not a whole lot. I thought there would be alot more during the beginning. Congrats and I will be on to see the advice.

There is a book that you must get called "What to expect when you are expecting". It is awesome!! It has every question imaginable in it and answers to everything. I loved it with both of mine. Oh yeah, I hope you enjoy your pregnancy as much as I did. I loved being pregnant and everyone told me I had that glow. The kicking and moving around was the best. Congratulations and best wishes...and don't be scared, nothing in your life will ever compare to this!!

Dont get scared about when its time to give birth. Many people will tell you it is very painful but it really isnt. The onlything that will hurt is the shoulders. When youre having painful contrations ask them to give you the medicine in your iv that helps take your mind off the pain. You'll still feel it but wont care.As for eperdurial think hard about it cause it can cause you back problems after.I gave birth to three girls without it and was fine.Im also going to have another without it.You,ll also have crazy cravings and mood swings.
