My car has VPD (vehicular personality disorder).It stems from having an exhaust pipe that is too small?

What can be done about it? It takes me forever to coax it into traffic in the morning.

Take the tail pipe and put some lubricant on your hand, massage it gently till it warms up.I do this to warm up my pipe most every morning and it seems to work just great,or have my wife do it for me.when I am a little bit lazy as I sometimes get in the morning. sometimes spit will do for lubricant.good luck
