Why do people think Ciara is a hermaphrodite?

There's a whole long page about this on Snopes.com. It's pretty far down the page, but it seems there is a famous Ciara in Ireland who was born a man and had surgery to become female. If you do an internet search on "Ciara" you get a lot of sites about the Irish transexual. People probably just mistook that for the Crunk n' B singer:

Ps. Ciara has never been on Oprah, so she couldn't have "admitted it" there.

They do? I guess I'm out of the loop right now. Although one friend of mine did say something like that about her, but it was a joke. Maybe it's 'cause she is so tall? But then that means they could say that about all the other tall celebrity females, e.g., Nicole Kidman. And being tall does not make some1 a hermaphrodite. Honestly, I don't know why ppl. would say that about her---everything about her is very feminine and girly. She has a really soft, girly singing voice, not at all deep like a man's would be, and she's tall, but definitely built like a girl all the way, and she's very pretty. Sometimes ppl. say things and start rumors just to be mean, b/c they are jealous of something, and I think this is an example of that.

There was a rumor back when I was in 7th grade that She had had a sex change.(From male to female),so thats probally why.

think because she is kind of muscle bound. more than a girl usally does with mucsles. but she has a huge BUTT so they need to get slaped for starting that rumor. i mean that is a huge BUTT i mean BUTT.
