I find that the more tired my son is, the harder it is to get him to go to sleep at night. I don't know what you can do to have him nap longer at daycare. Maybe try to put him in bed a half hour later than usual, let his food digest a little more. Edit: My son has blue eyes, too! And they are just so red rimmed and glassy when he's tired and he will just run and run and run even more than when he's not tired. See if he'll sleep for three hours. That seems to be the trick for Chase.
