not hard if it is accessible. this is an easy job if the fan isnt buried under a bunch of crap. most fans all you have to have to do is get your self a really small flathead screwdriver and a set of tweezers and a drop of 10W oil. 1, find the fan. 2, take the sticker off the center part of the fan. 3, take the safety clip off the fan rod(screw driver). 4, take the fan rod guide key out(tweezers). 5, take the fan and fan rod apart from the fan wipe the fan rod clean then take the cloth swirl it and clean the inside of the motor where the fan-rod goes. 6, take a drop of oil put it on the fan rod and wipe it all over the fan rod. 7, re-assemble.... If that doesnt work then take the 2 to 12 screws to get the fan out unplug and put the new one on and plug.

Very simple.
1. Disconnect the power cord.
2. Open the case. There are screws in the back. If you opened the wrong side and can't see the components, try the other side.
3. Locate the fan, which is mounted with 4 small screws. Undo those
4. Unplug the fan power cord, and pull the fan out.
5. Mount the new fan, plug the fan connector
6. Screw the case panel back on, and it's done.

Ur welcome

very easy... just unplug and remove the old fan, then plug in teh new one. just call the store and tell them what motherboard you have they should know what fan you need. easier to have the new one in hand while you take the old one out, easier to put in the new part that way.

Really really easy, or if it's the fan in your power supply, you just buy a new one and throw the old one away.
