when a haploid n cell combines with a haploid n cell, the new cell will be 2n or diploid (the name for 2n).
if you had a word bank it might be easier for me to help. but in general, haploid cells are usually gametes (sperm or egg) that unite during sexual reproduction to form the diploid zygote.

A haploid cell (literally a half cell, containing only one set of chromosomes) determines gender. Basically one is a sperm, one is an egg. Thus, when a haploid n cell combines with a haploid n cell, the new cell will be XX or XY
This also makes the new cell a 2n.
