Intelligent design (ID) is the concept that "certain features of the universe and of living things are best explained by an intelligent cause, not an undirected process such as natural selection."[1][2][3] All of its leading proponents are affiliated with the Discovery Institute.[4][5][6][7][8][9] They say that intelligent design is a scientific theory that stands on equal footing with, or is superior to, current scientific theories regarding the evolution and origin of life.[10]

Intelligent design is an untestable hypotheses that states that a higher being (i.e God) created us. Intelligent design is really just a blanket term for all forms of anti-evolution. Most people who believe in intelligent design also reject most of modern science.

Intelligent design is a term that religious leaders use to explain evolution. An obvious attempt on their part to justify their existence in te wake of multitudes of archaeological evidence and fact. Basically saying ... that Adam and Eve were apes. lol

It's not a theory since it's not based on physical laws or equations or facts. It is a religious belief that everything in existence came about because of actions of a supreme being.

evolution is not just by chance, and not just random development,
an analogy is building or city doesn't just grow out of nothing, but somebody had to build it, and there had to be some purpose for it, not just for no reason
