I am concerned the modern day obsession with "bling" ignores the plight of Africans who are mistreated and killed in order for us to look cool and I think the general population needs to be more aware of what's going on so I want to print up some t-shirts. Something like "Is your bling killing Africa?"
Also, if anyone knows any good web links with information about blood diamonds and how to avoid them I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

It might be hard to do this on a shirt, but if you have one of those cool T-shirt printing programs where you iron on the design, it might be possible- how about a picture on the right side of some rapper or someone in tons of bling, and then, on the other side, a picture of actual Africans doing the mining, with a statement across or above the pictures saying "While you're wearing it, they're paying for it. And then "No African blood diamonds" on the back or something like that? I don't know; someone else can probably come up with a better slogan, but I still like the concept.

You might try this picture if you want:

Something about how ironic to be wearing something on your hand that someone else lost theirs for.
