I am doing this for a report and I need to know why they wrote it (I already know what it is about) did a member, probably spencer, get in a car crash in their early years killing a close friend or family?

No, they were on tour and he woke up from a bad dream where a guy was obsessed with his girlfriend and getting to heaven, and he (the guy in his dream) felt that the only way for the two of them to get to heaven would be through death, so he (the guy in the dream) crashed their car and yeah...it seems like you know the rest of the song...

for the main area yeah in "they are in uncomplicated terms chasing secure practices" it is their previous album, the screaming is greater lighter in a fashion and theres greater making a music. In there new CD the screaming is heavier and the making a music is way less.
