I am moderately liberal. I have at times made a comment here about Fox News. I have also been derided by conservatives for watching Fox. 'Why does a Liberal like you watch Fox News?'
Well, I like their 'presentation format'. And I also watch Fox to keep an eye on the 'loonies'. And I also watch and admire Fox for their skill in 'manipulation'. They 'invent' news, and to give it 'substance', they build a 'story' around it. The 'Hilary versus Obama battle' comes to mind. These guys are good.
Who else has noticed this?

Oh yes, I nearly forgot! I also watch Fox News for the ladies. Some exotic looking bimbos there. (Not talking about Ann Coulter, she's cheap.)

I sometimes watch Fox news in the hopes that I will achieve a well-rounded notion of what is happening in the world by exposing myself to a variety of opinions. Unfortunately after the Fox flare-up over David Gregory's simple effort to extract a straight answer from Tony Snow during a White House Press briefing, I am convinced Fox news is pretty much a waste of time. I do enjoy Keith Olbermann and Jon Stewart but am finding Chris Matthews too intent on vilifying liberals only to seem fair rather than simply being objective.

Because there are times when I enjoy watching totally biased and slanted journalism. Fox certainly satisfies those urges.
