i think baseball players and baseketball players are all over paid to play such a soft sport

hell yea theyre overpaid... all these steroid taking buffoons do is catch a ball and run.. do they promote world peace ? no. do they help the homeless and starving cheildren? no. do they contribute to society besides running around likea moron catching pigskin?no. do they do any good for anyone ? no. they should be paid noithing in my opinion.

No, basic Econ 101, they get paid what the market can bear. You think baseball and basketball are "soft" sports. Go out there and face a fastball or go into the paint against 7-foot giants and run up and down the court for 48 mins.
I guarantee you'll be scared and sucking air.

Well.... I never thought about that... But I say yes. These athletes are playing tough, but get paid over a million. Even the bad people in the league. The reason why is this: They have to work hard to even get into the worst place in a proffesional league.(Or however you spelll it).

i think they are paid for what they bring to the game. Imagine you are Teacher, and get paid per student taught, then imagine you teach on television, and you are one of the most watched teachers, your pay goes up. There are plenty of atheletes that are in minor leagues who get paid accordingly to how many they entertain,

I think all professional athletes are overpaid. They should be paid for what they do, after they've done it. Most need an incentive to do better.

i don't really care about baseball and basketball but athletes like runners, skaters, football players, swimmers, ect. should be praised for what they do so i think they deserve the big pay.

yes, most of them are, though many people say athletes really work hard, but there are other ppl who work harder but are paid less, like mine workers.
and the fact is that athletics just like those workers are mostly un-educated so they are paid for anything specific they know.
