Whenever I do a web search, a list of all my previous searches show up. For example, if I'm doing a Yahoo! search and I type the letter 'B', all previous searches starting with 'B' are listed underneath the search box. I've looked this up, and everything leads me to AutoComplete. I've tried to clear it, and although it seems to work in Internet Explorer, it doesnt affect MSN Explorer. When I try to delete history etc. from MSN Explorer, nothing happens! How can I disable AutoComplete permanently or at least make my history and previous searches not show up in MSN??? Please help! 10 points to the best answer!

Click on tools then Internet options then clear history. You can also highlight your previous searches and with the right hand mouse click, click delete. that should do it.

i'm no longer an authority, yet when I understand your question properly, you want to click on the pencil icon next to the hunt field, you've a drop down menu that incorporates "Toolbar thoughts". in case you click that, you'll discover you've search for field thoughts. Uncheck "enable present day searches". close your browser and commence back. which could favor to end your previous searches from arising. **you need to also opt to Uncheck "enable vehicle finished" (placed interior an identical position) in case you style in some thing similar and do not want an identical words to come back up - yet this can be sensible in case you want to repeat the hunt a at the same time as interior the destiny. wish this helped... :)

Just go up to the top of your window, tools--> options--> security options.
*Clear cache*, history, cookies, whatever. I usually clear everything if I visited a site I don't want anyone to know about. But cache is the one you want cleared.
