Don't look for S3 DVDs until about Sep 2007. The show will run til sometime in May and then we'll start hearing the target date.
The number of seasons will depend on the continued popularity of the show. The writers know how they will end the show and can work it into the story at any time (and they promise us they WILL do a good job, not just a SLAP IT IN type story).
My own opinion is the show will last 6 seasons.
Season 1 represented 48 days (not one of "the numbers" but in the ballpark)
Season 2 represented 23 days
Season 3 will probably be 16 days or so
So if they're following the "numbers" at all, we'll probably see 6 seasons.
