I told a male friend of mine who was frustrating me to "count me out as a friend" just because i was getting tired of apologizing all the time to him for what he thought I was always doing wrong. he replied by telling me "Count you out immediately and to show you how I am taking out a lawsuit against you ".
The lawsuit holds no water ,but the surprise reaction does.
Why would someone take such strong measures to eliminate a friend?????I was just not wanting to keep having to be apologetic to someone when they were not to me. I want to be myself.
We are not speaking now and he is hurt by my reaction to his lawsuit....i called the Police, the Church and the lawyer to solve this lawsuit stuff. I am exhausted in the process.

Your friend sounds like a nut and it sounds like you are over reacting. There probably is not lawsuit and there most likely never will be a lawsuit. Move on and let him go.

Personally, I Think Your Friend Is Trippin. Maybe There Was Something In The Conversation He Was Feelin But You Weren't..Maybe The Way You Said It Or The Way He Felt WHEN You Said It Made Him React So Harshly.

not enough info to say

I think it makes sense to ask him exactly WHAT he didn't like so much about you.

Then, if its a serious thing, maybe get some distance and reflect on it. Discuss it maybe. Friends are good to have and keep.

I AM curious what got him so upset that he wanted to sue you though.
