Do you think the movie "The Holiday" is actually an adertising vehicle for Sony?

Look at all the electrical appliances, they are all from sony. iris and ethan's vaio laptops, iris's cd player... and they showed the trailer of an upcoming movie twice.

Well, it wasn't actually a real movie they were showing a trailer of. Also, a lot of movies have some pretty blatant product placement- The Island was almost completely funded by such ads. Constantine also features a huge car billboard which is pretty obviously lingered on.

In this overly commercialised world, I wouldn't be surprised.
