No they didn't the link below can give you a guide to the bands that played on what episode you want . I love that show i still watch it on the local PBS channel when they show it

I don't remember ever seeing them on there. The only ones I really remember seeing was the group Madness that sang "Our House in the middle of our street" or something like that. And I think Dexy's Midnight Runners who sang "Come on Eileen", but I could be wrong. That was so long ago.
