I'm at my best when the pressure is high. While in Iraq, my unit found itself in some pretty hairy situations; situations that I thought for sure I would freak out in. I was surprised at how calm I was when I experienced my first IED. Others depend on you to keep your head, so you have to the best you can.

I'm at my best. I take the attitude that's it's not going to be the end of the world if I fail, therefore I eliminate the fear of failure.
