How do you block phone numbers from calling a cell phone?

ok i have this person that calls me to many times a day and im getting sick of it. is there any way of blocking some ones phone number from calling a cell phone. i have a verizon cell phone anbd ofcorse my service provider is verizon wireless. please help. please.

I think you dial (*98) or (*77) then enter there number or something...I hope I helped
