it doesn't matter. no one assumes that you have taken business classes in high school when you start college. they start from the basics.

if you did take business classes in HS a lot of the stuff would be a repeat for you.

If you're interested in international business, then go for it. But do you homework, make sure that you really want to be in that major. Most schools will allow you to enroll as undeclared or undecided majors and then you can try out courses in the major that you think you're interested in at college.

Regardless, college is a place to move forward and grow, so don't let not taking something in high school keep you from taking something in college. Good luck!
