I am 10 weeks pregnant and I went to the Doctors on friday to hear the heart beat and he couldn't find it, I am worried that I am not pregnant, I have a trans-vaginal ultrasound schedualed for tuesday, I have been confirmed with blood tests and a pelvic exam, I just don't feel pregnant. No morning sickness, or any kind of sick at all. My waist line is thicker but that could all just be me eating more. Has anyone else felt this way?

Sometimes the heartbeat isn't heard until after 10 weeks I wouldn't worry. Also, be happy that you don't have any symptons. Especially the morning sickness. But don't worry, before long you will start feeling and looking more pregnant! And if there was anything wrong with your pregnancy, then when you have your ultrasound on Tuesday, they will see. So until then, don't worry and enjoy being sympton-free! Merry Christmas ;)

Everyone is different. Some women don't get morning sickness or feel pregnant. If your blood tests confirmed the pregnancy you are pregnant, you're far enough along that if something went wrong and you miscarried, you'd definitely know. When you say the Dr couldn't find a heartbeat, did he use ultrasound or just a Doppler? U/s is the only way to pick up a heartbeat this early in pg, there is no way a handheld Doppler would pick it up yet.

I didn't feel pregnant either... until well into my pregnancy... and then the symptoms were few and far between. But the doctor was able to find a heartbeat when I was 8 weeks pregnant while doing an ultrasound. Did they do any ultrasound?? I hope everything turns out well at your next appointment. Try not to stress too much.

You may not feel pregnant until your child is large enough you can feel him or her move. I know that, while morning sickness does seem to be prevalent, you don't *have* to have it, and you're quite fortunate to not. I would also not worry about the doctor not finding a heartbeat; it is rare to pick up a heartbeat with a doppler before 12 weeks, and in most cases the first time will be around 18 weeks. Congratulations!

Not everyone gets morning sickness. Actually a lot of women can be pregnant for up to 4 months without even knowing. My friend was 4.5 months pregnant still getting what seemed like a period and didn't gain an ounce. 4 months ago she gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy. Best of luck.

Don't worry, I was a good 3 months pregnant before they could get a heartbeat, and they had to get it internally. As for no sickness, celebrate, some people are sick their whole pregnancy. Don't stress out, that can cause problems with you and it's not good for the baby. By the way, congratulations!!!!!!

lucky lucky lucky...! its all good.. your baby will be kicking about 18 weeks or so... When i was 10 weeks i was feeling fine too, then at 12-13 weeks I started to feel all bloated once i ate. But it went away after the 4 month. I never felt no morning sickness or those other bad feelings that other girls experience.
Good luck with you baby...

i didnt feel that way in the beggining because i was sick. plus i got my first ultrasound at 7 weeks and saw the baby. but then after that appoinment i didn't feel sick anymore and i felt fine. i didnt gain any weight at all yet and i worried that the baby was even there anymore.
after my last appoinment though we got to hear the heartbeat and i felt great again.
its weird not showing or feeling that you are pregnant until you can actually see and hear the baby. then you'll feel better.
