I asked this a few days ago but I guess I wasn't too much in detail so let me try again.

I got my period on 11-25-06. Other than a couple of days it stopped, I've been bleeding since. I'm also getting cramps and severe lower back pain at times. 30 years old, not on birth control, haven't had sex for a couple of months, not pregnant, no major stress, and never had something like this happen before.
Should I be alarmed? What if it gets worse or something. I've called the gyne and I can't get in for 3 weeks.

Did you explain your situation? Call again and tell them you need to see someone. Don't wait three weeks - go to a clinic if you have to. It might be nothing but it's better not to take a chance.

Glad your going to the doctor. It could be something as simple as a messed up cycle for you. There are alot of different things that could be causing this. Sometimes Endroymetriosis (spelling) will cause real bad periods and lenthly ones with alot of pain. If it gets to where you can't handle the pain go to the ER. Unless you are very weak from the blood loss, it does take a while through menestration, wait it out and plan on buying stock in tampons for awhile. I hope you feel better soon.
