help friend trouble!?

ok my friend told me she is emo, what exactly is it? I know some cut their self with razors(blade) but do I treat her as normal? how can I help?? i want to know but i guess shes just scared to give me details!

An emo person is one that is emotional a lot like depressed or hates everything. Emo ppl only cut themselves when they can't express there feelings or don't wan't to tell soemone there feelings. You should treat her normal but take some time with her/him and try to make that person open up and be more happy around that person like make them see that the world is wonderful or that its not bad to have emotions. Also, some ppl say they are emo just to be cool or fit into a group (or be an outcast). So talk to that person. Also my name is also Elizabeth and my last name starts with a G creepy

This can be very serious. She needs help and now. As her friend she has let you know. She is crying out for help. Tell her she needs to talk to an adult about this and get help. If she dose not get help this could be fatal. She may end up cutting where a major vein or artery is and bleed to death. Don't threaten her, but tell her you will go with her to seek help. Good Luck

well if u were a true friend then u would accept her as her, so treat her as if she never told u that she was emo. but if she is really hurting herself u should tell someone. if her parents dont know then tell them. because normally people become emo when someone or something is wrong or they dont like there life. so ask her if her parents know, if they dont know then they should know, because that is really serious. so i hope i helped u byebye
