you should not go in the pool. The chlorine does not kill the infection and it could be spread.

Well, if you went swimming in a chlorinated pool, hopefully, you would wear goggles, so it wouldn't get that irrated. I would be worried about others around you getting it! Don't go to school at all! Go to a doctor, get some drops, and take a day off to recover. You deserve it!

Well chlorine would kill it...but exposure to other students is just not worth it. It isn't the pool...it is you rubbing it...putting your hands on things...and then someone else picking up the germ. Probably the locker room etc.
Take the day off-

I don't think you should go to school tomorrow at all. You should go to the doctor and get a prescription for antibiotic drops and use them for 24 hours before going to school. Pink eye is extremely contagious.

your best guess is yes
but one way to stop the irritation is to buy some pink eye ointment at a rite aid or happy Harry's.
plus don't go to school instead see an eye doctor!

If you have pink eye, I would go to the doctor immediately to be on the safe side than going blind.
