Lol. Dear, we have homework because teachers need to make sure that we work and dwell on what they have taught us in class. They know that if homework wouldn't exist, we would forget all about school as soon as we get home. Besides, homework is viewed as practice. By the way, I'm 16 so I know what you mean.

I read an article before in Macleans that said homework is bad it discourages learning and teachers wouldnt have to asign homework if they where good enough teachers to teach it in class. Homeworks dumb. I never do it.

yes its a teachers job to teach in class but u also need to stimulate your mind outside of school even if its just for a hour....i dont think homework should be given on the weekend and tests shouldn't be given on mondays(in high school)....

Sometime we think the kids have it way harder because we have to do homework. So do the teachers. What do you think they do during the weekends or after school. Make up tests, lesson plans, and grading tests!

Teachers just want to make sure you don't forget what they taught you in class.They probably don't enjoy grading the extra work.
