I don't know what that troll is on about, but I value your question. My favorite grocery closed down mid summer this year, killed by walmart. We all know about walmart's service level -- erratic; some walmarts, it downright sucks. But my favorite grocery was a Biggs. They were small and friendly, and I actually found it relaxing shopping there. I will continue to miss them, until I move to another state, at least. When they closed, I was sincerely concerned about the staff. I hope they made out alright finding new jobs.

IGA gets 50/50. The service is phenomenal. No better customer service anywhere. The milk is always spoiled, even when the date is a week later. The frozen food section is iffy. You have to watch out for freezer burn.

Two different local chains. Both have excllent service. Has improved markedly since Wal-Mart got into the area. Shocking, isn't it? The other amazing thing is-gasp-decent prices !!!

not too great. sometimes the items go out of date very fast, and some are already outdated. and another thing-one time my mom and i went to the store and the checkout lady was falling asleep behind the counter and my mom had to wake her up....she said she was really tired and took a bunch of medications...it was funny in a way though because she was doing her thing one moment and the next she fell asleep.
