Misogyny is sexism/hate towards women (and women can be misogynistic). Misandry is sexism/hate towards men. I think that these words, like most words, are thrown around and misused. There's a little bit of sexism in us all. It's because we don't know what it's like to be the opposite sex. But misogyny and misandry are more "aggressive" forms I think. They have more to do with trying to make the other sex's/gender's lives miserable.
