I would imagine people who are overly sensitive to their environment would feel even less capable of controlling their paranoid type behaviors.Although it may have a sedative effect and just make them sleepy and hungry.I seriously doubt it would be helpful.Some people such as those who have asthma might have an asthma attack from it.Here is one site with some personal claims about it being used with autism.

Hi,
Most people with an intellectual disability have due to their disability not the ability to express themselves verbally and will express more behaviourally (and sometimes give problems because of that). If a person then takes mind altering substances like marijuana, behavioural problems can increase.
With autism I would think that their anxiety levels will increase as then the world becomes even more incomprehensible to them.

It depends on the person. It would have a different reaction with each person--some people it might calm them down, others it might make them freak out. Just like the non-"mental disability" population. It's impossible to predict the precise reaction each individual will have to it.

Marijuana will affect your brain exactly the same if you are a normal person, of a mentally disabled one.

Pretty much the same way it affects everyone else. It dulls the normal functioning of the person's brain. Whatever cognitive abilities the person posseses will be lessened.

Good question... Although I do not know the answer... However I do know that my aunt whom passed away 1 year ago of cancer smoke marijuana everyday... it helped her relax, not be in so much pain and funtion normal... Im not sure that marijuana is as bad as everyone says... However I've never tried it...
