every time someone puts me down or shits on me and says mean things to me my husband get close to the person insulting me. but when people are nice to me and they like me a lot he wont like them and he wont get close to them its like he is against me or something but yet he is with me i dont get it. he says the only reason why people like you is because you are pretty. why is he like this ? why does he like the people who **** on me

Sounds like he's the type of guy who is deeply insecure and scared of his wife having friends in case he loses control of her. By making friends with those who insult you, he's trying to reinforce their bad comments and make you feel you should be lucky to have him. AS IF! He should be sticking up for you, not making you feel worse. You deserve MUCH better than this and make sure you let him know that.

i understand something out of what you say
there are few possibilities
*he still lives with you only for your looks
*he is too possesive
he does not want any body to praise you since to is very possesive
*he teases you with the others just to insult you more and try to put you self confidence down that making you feel you dont have any one except him to rely on
*do you snap him ever? what does he do when you go teasing him? does he look great? does he look lesser than you ? ask your self these questions
above all do u love him, does he love you truely just think okie buye for now

Sounds like it could be passive aggression. Do you give him a hard time? It may be his way off getting back at you. Maybe he's a bit intimidated by your good looks and secretly doesn't think he deserves you. Either way you need to get it sorted, neither of you want to go were this may be leading.

maybe he feels threatended and a bit jealous - you can only talk to him about this and see if you can resolve the issue,tell him you really appreciate him sticking up for you and it makes you feel protected but you also need him to be friendly to those that like you and point out that he should be proud that some find you pretty and remind him who is with him and who loves him
inseurity is what it sounds like

.I think he is insecure and feels that he is safe with people that **** on you and they will not take you away from him. Can you live like this and do you love him enough to discuss the situation as its not a healthy relationship.
