Belly button piercing questions?

I would like to hear from people who have had theirs done. Is it very painful? How much did it cost? Are you happy with it / do you regret having it done? And any other tips you might have for me. THANKS!!!

I got my belly button pierced when I was 15. I was so scared. It really wasn't that painful to get it pierced though. I think I paid about $30 for the piercing and the belly ring. If you get this done, make sure that you keep it really clean! I used water and sea salt to soak it in a few times a day and I also used Bactene spray and Neosporin to keep it from getting infected. The guy who did mine suggested that I get a hoop rings instead of just the banana looking one. I think that really helped too because I was able to turn it and keep it from sticking. The hoop isnt as cute as some of the others out there, but it made it heal quick. Good luck! :)

I can tell you that it was painful for me - i have had my nose, belly, ears 4 times and a tattoo and for some reason my belly hurt the most. It's very quick though but like a very sharp sting. It cost like around $60 and am i happy with it - yeah - when i don't want to wear it i just take it out unlike a tattoo.

I noticed a lady saying that if you plan to have kids don't get a belly piercing - it's a load of crap - cause i have had a child and all you have to do it take it out while you are pregnant and put it back after you have had you baby... Good luck! you will love it...

Ok it cost me $70, iv had it done since last October n seriously i dont think i can ever go back 2 not having one theyre so pretty n hot, yeh it does hurt but its not absolutely excrutiating, just momentary n who cartes anyway once youve seen ur end result. It will b a bit tender n maybe red for a couple of months but mine was fully healed after about 2 months, it all depends on u tho, some people's body reject them but im sure you'll b fine

I had mine done, its not comfortable but the pain is not excruciating either, kind of like a big pinch, It cost about $30 I think, it was several years ago, I let it grow up because it was uncomfortable rubbing against my jeans, now i have a small scar not very noticeable

It doesn't really hurt, a quick pinch, cost about $60, I am happy with it. Advice- go to a professional piercer and follow the aftercare instructions. Make sure all their equipment and jewelry is sterile.

i got mine done about 2 years ago......it does hurt when it gets done but its nothing compared to what your gonna through trying to keep it clean......trying to prevent it from rubbing against your jeans/pants the rubbing did bother me ALOT!!!!

it does take a while for it to completely heal

if you plan on getting one make sure you are not gonna have kids for at least a year or two.....belly buttons take waaaay longer to heel.......even though it feels better your chances of it closing are really high.

hey i have a belly ring. it didn't hurt me when i got mine done but i have one friend who cried for half an hour i think it was more shock sice she did it spur of the moment. and another friend said no pain at all. it more depends on your personal pain tolerance elver . some times what hurts one person won't hurt another person . good luck ~*~Blessed Be~*~

If you are going to have anything pierced make sure the place that is doing it is very clean. You should also watch them remove the piercing needle from it's own individual packet to make sure it is sterilized.

it hurts, but just for a minute.

its sore after like a day, and it itches.

mine was about $60-65.

it was worth it. i love my belly button ring.

it doesnt hurt bad enough not to get it done.

it hurts a little but most of that is going to rely on the experience of your piercer. prices can range from $15 to $30. the good thing is if you hate it you can take it out.
