My friend and I had a fight. She was mad that I had more friends (girls and guys) this year than I had had in any other year. She is very disrespectful to me and has ALWAYS been, the only reason why I used to hang out with her was because I had no one else. Anyways, now I have made it clear to her that if I don't get the respect I deserve I don't want to be her friend anymore. Now she's going to go to my "new" friends and tell them all the bad stuff about me...what should I do?

Go to you "new" friends and tell them the whole story. Then they will understand. Always be by your friends so you "ex-friend" dosent go over their and cant tell stuff about you. Try avoiding her and stuff. Hope it all works out! Best of Luck!

don't stoop to her level - she is not a friend - and the friends you think you have now made - will show their true colors - they will either stick by and be your friend through thick and thin - or you'll find out they never were your friends - and if this is the case, be glad you found out what they are really like before you invested too much of yourself into them. if they are loyal friends, no matter what this girl says, should not hurt your relationship with them because they like you for who you are and not liking you what she is saying against you. they will form their own opinions of you as time goes by. so, it's up to you to show ANYONE what YOU are really about. DON'T WORRY about this so called ex-friend.

Ok I have to answer this because I had been through that before and I had to cut that person loose, When someone is suppose to be your friend they are gonna have your back no matter what you do and support you through the good and the bad times, Seems like she is misery and she likes company cut that drama loose and move on, You don't need garbage in your life.

Nothing. She sounds like an idiot and not a good friend...if they are your real friends they wont believe her. But if you go to them and start talking about her, you will look just as bad as she does. That is not a real friend, you are better off without her.

relax any real friend is not going to threaten you with "telling stories about you" she may indeed be all alone and with poor self esteem and or depressed and be UNABLE to handle the conflict. being disrespectful is a form of abuse .which you should never tolerate

she is a witch, you need to avoid her like the plague. if your new friends are real friends they will listen to you. Ihave a sister that does that to me and I have decided to cut her off myself. I hung around her because I had no one else. she ended up stealing my first husband of l8 years away from me and had a kid and married him. avoid this girl, she is a beeaacch. good luck kiddo

If your new friends are really friends, they will ignore her. You told her just what you should have.
