it could be the timer not sending the right signal, worn belt(s), or something small went out with the water on a previous load. on some brands of washers the pump can have a bad bearing and it will work until it gets hot from spinning and seize up, then the belt burns out in that spot. put a new belt in and the same thing will happen again, until you put a new pump in. try turning the timer to another cycle and see if it drains, if it does, you need a new timer. if it doesn't, it could be the pump or belt. wash small items in a mesh laundry bag. also some brands of washers have a lint filter in them, shake out bath rugs and the like so the filter won't be overloaded. lastly, read the users manual that comes with the new washer for how to use.

Sound like your drain is cloggedsomewhere in the line, hapened to me and that was my problem, I had a old bread twisty that had collected debris along draining the pipe was in the base of the machine, however, you said twice so it sould like it could be in the pipe. You would have to call someone, but since you are getting a new one, make sure that you get a warranty. Good luck!

Have you lost any socks lately? or other small clothing items. They could be jamming up the pump. Is the belt driving the pump good anf tight or does it slip? (Squealing sound when the machine goes into spin cycle) When your new one arrives keep a check on your laundry Ehat goes in MUST come out

or check the power supply. Is it doing anything at all? Do you hear a motor trying to turn? Is it slipping?

If it doesnt spin or drain, its probably just a defective door switch.
