im not sure how you would do this problem.

write an equation in standard form of the line that passes through (7,-3) and has has a y-intercept of 2.

i dont really need the answer just how to start it or whatever.

We know 2 points, (7,-3) and (0,2). From this we can get the slope.
Then we can use our slope and one of our two points to write it in point slope form {Y-y1=M(X-x1)}.
Next transform the equasion into standard form {Ax+By=C}

y= Y1+B(x-x1)

point intercept form

y= -3 + 2(x-7)
